Does anyone know the name of large pencil grip used in Special Education Classroom?
I use to work in a classroom where we had a gigantic pencil grip it was purple and spongy if that helps anyone and has a whole on each end. It was big enough that it basically covered the whole pencil expect for the eraser and lead. It was made for people that hands did not bend enough to grip a pencil such as cerebral palsy. It could also be used with crayons. I really need one for a child I am currently working with but cant remember what the product was called. I goggled pencil grip but am only finding small ones. Does anyone know what I am describing or where I could get one from. Calling the school is not an option. If you dont know what I am describing could anyone suggest a way to make a similar thing. It must be gripable and soft. A crayon will need to fit and each end.
